In just one month, we officially launch the 2026–2027 Blake Theater season!

Students, parents, and guardians—mark your calendars for our Season Kickoff on Saturday, August 15. This is the best way to begin the year informed, connected, and ready for everything ahead.

Freshmen, new students, and their families will begin at 11:00 AM in the Black Box with an introduction to Blake Theater’s expectations, opportunities, communication systems, participation requirements, and program culture.

At 12:00 PM, all students will meet in the Black Box while parents and guardians gather on the Don Thompson Stage. We’ll cover Thespian participation, festivals, leadership opportunities, memberships, volunteer needs, program funding, paperwork, and the many ways students and families can get involved.

Beginning at 1:00 PM, families can turn in forms and signature pages, purchase memberships, have paperwork notarized, ask questions, and shop for Blake Theater merchandise. Students will remain in the Black Box for games and activities with our student leaders.

There is a great deal happening at Blake Theater this year, and Season Kickoff is the best place to get the information you need and start the year on the right foot.

August kicks off the Blake Theater season with board meetings, the first day of school, Season Kickoff, fall auditions, and Thespy second round auditions. It’s the start of a full year of production, performance, and possibilities.

Blake Theater is building an official alumni and former student database, and we want to reconnect with the artists, leaders, and creatives who have been part of our program over the years.
