I love this recipe & it's a great change of pace for your romaine! Warning.... do not mix the sugar with the vinegar... it gets stuck on the bottom of the dish and leaves you with a bitter salad. Can you tell I speak from experience! Even better, replace the sugar with honey ;)

Made these 4 times recently and they are a hit! Don't bother with tasteless low-fat cheese! I used vermont cheddar yesterday and it was great. I've also used parmesan. Ian's Whole Wheat Panko replaced breadcrumbs because I didn't have any clean ingredient basic breadcrumbs on hand. Worked perfectly! Try it this week with your zucchini. 2 zucchini makes a double batch of ~24 tots!
