Tampa Day School
A premier private school in Tampa, FL, for children in grades 3-8 who learn differently. However, we are not your typical special needs school.
Tampa Day School offers a rigorous academic program for students who learn differently. Children with ADHD thrive through our focus on executive function and organizational skills, while children with dyslexia are given the intensive phonological instruction needed to finally "break the code". At graduation, we had a special 'Family' Longevity Award for the Mitrakos' family, featuring 4 Tampa Day School graduates. We placed all their first-year photos at TDS at one end of the yardstick and their 8th-grade graduation photos at the other end! UHA!
