What if you're thinking about your body the wrong way? Instead of pitting yourself against your body, join forces with your body and fight against the real enemy - unrealistic expectations placed on you as a woman. You go much further when you're working with your body rather than against it.
I created a challenge to help win your body battle in the place that matters most, your mind! Negative body talk is the number 1 thing you can change to get some relief from your body image issues.

Sharing some takeaways from my book, The Body Image Solution. I really want women to know that even your idea of "perfect" for your body might not be the healthiest goal. Focus on living your life, not perfecting your body and you will be much happier with both!

Last night I was reminded that contentment does not mean LACK 🔥 it simply means having a heart posture of gratitude and humility towards your current circumstances.
Where do you feel a sense of lack towards your body? What are you comparing yourself to that you think you - somehow - are not enough?
I 100% believe in self-discipline and having a healthy lifestyle, but we cannot confuse health with perfection or contentment with complacency. You can be content while pursuing something different!

I hate goal setting (is that allowed?)
Weird thing is, I love change - and I know that lasting change happens slowly.
Last year I decided I wanted to up-level the products and routines I have for my body. I wanted to have everyday luxury, even if it meant just a silk pillowcase. I didn’t make a plan, I just took inspiration as it came to me.
I’m going to share all of these upgrades with you now, in case it inspires you to level-up your body appreciation with a few sensory products/services. If you want the full story of why I did each of these, listen to the episode “when you feel guilty spending money on yourself”
1) Upgraded my Burberry from TJ Maxx perfume to my favorite, Chanel.
2) Upgraded my makeup to something that is good for my skin, cruelty-free. is what I use now!
3) I threw out about half of my panties and got new ones. ( is life).
4) I stopped wearing fashion jewelry.
5) Upgraded my skincare regime to (PS head to rebekahbuege.com/elemis for a discount) & .
6) Started getting massages monthly.
7) An entire new wardrobe of silk and satin pajamas from + a silk face mask & satin pillowcase from
8) Upgraded my toothbrush. Love that baby!
9) Upgraded my bras to
Upgrading small things for my body literally shows my body how much I value it.
As Michael Scott would say, “presents are great because it says, hey man, I love you this many dollars worth”
Side note, there’s still time to join the January round of Confidently She, my 12-week group coaching program for the successful, yet unfulfilled woman who wants to enjoy life more rather than letting her thoughts be distracted by her body, her imperfections, and culture's expectations of her.
Link in bio or DM me to hop on a quick call to see if you’re a good fit.

Who else got an Amazon gift card this week?
In case you missed my “spending money on yourself” episode, it’s not too late to apply the concept. When I got gift cards, I used to use them on boring things I would’ve bought anyway...like shampoo or toothpaste. But that’s not...really a gift.
If you insist on being practical (a habit I’m trying to break) at least get the fun and fancy version of what you need. When I started investing in the goooooood body products, my relationship with my body improved almost immediately.
Btw - good is relative. What you think is good might be the stuff I’d never touch again (lookin’ at you Bath & Body Works) what I think is good might be the stuff you roll your eyes at (come to me all things Shea butter)
So that’s what it is. That’s what I do this time of year when I have extra gift cards lying around - and I feel really great using the products I truly love.
And you should, TOO! Tell me what you’ve been eyeing 👀

🛑STOP🛑 and follow me for the next 45 seconds…
đź’«Put your hand on your chest and press down a bit.
đź’«Take a deep breath in through your nose, fill up your belly (not your chest).
đź’«Hold it.
đź’«And let out through your nose.
đź’«Now, take a deep breath through your nose and fill up your chest. Let your chest push your hand away from your body.
đź’«Hold it. Connect to your body.
đź’«Hold it a bit longer.
đź’«Breathe out through your mouth.
Doing this throughout the day brings me back to center anytime I get overwhelmed. It gets me out of my head and into my body.
Give it a try - thank me later.

I’m normalizing being direct and forward with my needs. It can feel scary and super vulnerable, but I just tell myself...what’s scarier is to have relationships where my needs are unknown and unmet. Anyone in 🙌🏼?

I’m committed to a deep connection with my body.
When I am consciously connected to my body, I feel confident as hell. How do I use this confidence? Mmmm taking the big slice of pie when I want it, wearing the see-thru dress, showing my skin, covering it up, whatever I feel like doing - and I know exactly what I feel because I’m deeply connected to my body.
I’ve got the confidence of a queen.
And queens? Don’t care about the comments, queens care about the connection. I missed out on so much enjoyment in my life because I was disconnected...but not anymore.
This (and so much more) is exactly what I’m doing with the women inside my signature group program, Confidently She Premium. The answer to your body anxiety isn’t a diet or exercise program, it’s connecting to her in a way that she feels seen, safe, and celebrated.
DM me with your Qs about the program. Registration is open for our next round that starts in January!

Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by external validation
*raises hand*
External validation is part of the human experience, it’s helpful and necessary in small doses. Things go sideways when it becomes an obsessive need, an addiction.
I used to crave validation. I sought attention like it was my job. I needed compliments in order to feel like I was worth anything. I did everything I could to fit in, to be liked, and to be impressive to people.
Yes….I even pretended to like football. I’M EMBARRASSED, TOO, I KNOW.
The weird part was, it worked...I knew how to get validation anytime I wanted it, so I didn’t think it was a problem. But I wasn’t actually being Rebekah, I was being the version of Rebekah I thought people would like.
Not good.
So I looked at the warning signs and decided to turn it around. Now, external validation is a cherry on top of the self confidence and trust I carry with me 24/7.
If you find you’re always craving external validation, needing someone to laugh at your joke, compliment your hair, give you a raise, etc...It’s time to work through this addiction to external validation.
It’s going down inside my group program, this is a select few women who fall precisely inside the bucket of “killin it in life” but “miserable in the day-to-day”
Message me to get your spot for the next round that starts in January!

Here’s the message I send to my body: You deserve to have the best. You may not have the best of everything right now, but I will find a few ways to give you the best.
Once I started investing and upleveling small things for my body, it became easier to see my natural, imperfect body as worthy of other things (like, you know, respect and love)
I realized it’s not selfish to give my body things I want. So I started checking in with her, I put my hand on my chest, and ask myself, “What would be really fun to have? If you could have something, what would it be?”
This week, that’s a massageeeee 🙆🏻‍♀️. What’s something that would be really fun for your body to have? Tell me ⬇️
