Montessori Preparatory (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Montessori is based on a profound respect for the child's personality.

The child works from his own free choice and is allowed a large measure of independence. As each child progresses at his own pace and successfully completes the self-correcting exercises, he develops confidence in his abilities and achievements.

Children love participating in real-life activities. Folding laundry, watering plants, washing fruits and vegetables, or setting the table help develop independence and practical life skills while giving children a sense of purpose and contribution within the family.

One of the most recognizable Montessori materials, the Pink Tower helps children develop visual discrimination, concentration, coordination, and an early understanding of mathematical concepts. While it may appear simple, this material lays an important foundation for future learning through hands-on exploration.

Summer often brings schedule changes, but maintaining predictable routines can help children feel secure and successful. Consistent mealtimes, bedtime routines, and opportunities for independent responsibilities provide structure while still allowing for summer fun and flexibility.

One of the simplest Montessori practices to bring home is creating an environment where your child can access and care for their belongings independently. Low shelves, child-sized tools, and organized spaces encourage responsibility, confidence, and self-motivation. Small changes can make a big difference in helping children feel capable and empowered.

Learning doesn't stop when summer begins. Children continue developing language, problem-solving, independence, and social skills through meaningful experiences every day. Reading together, preparing meals, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places all provide opportunities for growth. Consistent engagement throughout the summer helps children build confidence and maintain the skills they've worked hard to develop during the school year.
