Extremely sad & unbelievable news! Ustad Rashid Khan passed away! It is an irreplaceable loss! A few weeks back I came to know about him being hospitalized & on vetilator! Praying & hoping for a miracle! A tremendous void & a true loss of a GEM! A very sad day for Indian classical music. Deepest condolences to the family & to the music fraternity of the world! One of my fav singers KK is no more! He passed away today while performing on a stage! He was just 53, so shocking!! Some of his Bollywood songs are coming to my mind as I write this..’Tu hi meri Shab hai’, ‘Tadap tadap ke’, ‘Aankhon mein teri’, ‘khuda jaane’, ‘gurthukostunnayi(Telugu). His music lives on!
May his soul gets eternal peace! Om Shanti!🙏🏼

As we step into another new year, we would like to congratulate two of our Taraana Music babies!🥰 Aashna Sharma (Tampa) & Asmita Niyogi (London) graduated from high school this year! It feels pretty amazing that I got to spend their precious growing up years with them! All our love and best wishes to them for their higher studies & future endeavors, and happy holidays and a bright new year to the whole Taraana Music community! 🥳
