Mitchell Elementary School hosted a breakfast to honor the students who completed their final internships there this semester!

Dr Franco’s classes hosted a “math celebration” event at Adum and our PSTs taught/reinforced fraction concepts through interactive, real-world station activities all day. Over 240 elementary students participated, grades 2-5! Our J2 and S1 PSTs ROCKED the event! They prepared the activities, manipulatives, facilitation questions, differentiation strategies, and more, as they worked seamlessly with students across grade level standards. It was INCREDIBLE to watch them in action for 7 hours. The event was a HIT! Check out some pics.

River O’ Green, an annual event hosted by , kicked off the celebration this past Saturday as the Hillsborough River turned bright green right behind the Southard Family Building.

Elementary majors in our social studies methods course learned “Myths and Tips” for teaching social studies from guest speaker, Dr. Patrick O’Brien, UTampa history professor. Thank you Dr. O’Brien for sharing your journey and wisdom with us.
