As part of Roosevelt Elementary School’s 100th Anniversary celebration, every grade level contributed something special to our Time Capsule! 💙💛

Our youngest students shared drawings and snapshots of what life is like for kids today, while older students wrote about current trends, favorite games, technology, school life, and their hopes for the future. Some grades created letters to future students, others reflected on what makes Roosevelt special in 2026.

This capsule is a collection of memories, moments, and voices from our Rough Riders that future generations will one day open and enjoy. What a special way to celebrate 100 years of Roosevelt Elementary! 🎉

Congratulations to our 2026 PTA Scholarship Award Winners, Davis Shapiro and Toby Burnett! 🎓✨

Each student was awarded a $2,500 PTA scholarship to support their next chapter.

Davis will be attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison to study Computer Science, and Toby will be attending the University of Florida to study Finance.

We are so proud of both of you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish. Good luck on your exciting journeys ahead!

Today we welcomed back some very special visitors, Roosevelt alumni from the Class of 2026 for our Senior Clap Out! From these same hallways as elementary students to graduating seniors ready for their next adventure, it was such a full-circle moment to celebrate them where it all began.

Our current students loved cheering them on, and we couldn’t be more proud of the amazing young adults they’ve become. Congratulations, seniors! 🐻⭐
