Our Gators showed up with some of the most important people in their lives, and what a beautiful morning it was!

We were thrilled to welcome so many moms and caring mother figures to our iMoms Breakfast at Muller Elementary Magnet School. Seeing our cafeteria filled with families connecting, laughing, and starting the day together reminded us just how powerful family engagement can be.

A special thank you to our guest speakers from Walmart Vision for joining us and sharing with our families, and to Master Academy Tae Kwon Do for generously sponsoring this month’s breakfast.

We are also incredibly grateful to our Muller PTA for helping make mornings like this possible. Thank you for your continued support of our students and families!

And to every mom and caring mother figure who joined us, thank you for showing up, encouraging our Gators, and making this morning so special. We loved having you with us!

What a wonderful surprise today!

A huge thank you to Deputy Bellamy and our friends at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for stopping by Muller Elementary Magnet School with a generous delivery of school supplies!

We are so grateful for community partners who continue to pour into our students and our school. These supplies will go directly into the hands of our Gators and help support learning throughout the year.

Thank you, Deputy Bellamy and HCSO, for showing our students that their community is cheering them on and invested in their success!

CALLING ALL STUDENT ARTISTS! 🖍️ It’s time to show off your creativity with our Every Day Matters Poster Contest. In partnership with United Way Suncoast, we’re challenging students to show why coming to school every day makes a difference. Use a powerful slogan, meaningful artwork, or both to share your unique perspective on what motivates you to show up.

The contest will run from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 11. Posters must be submitted via school mail (Route 7) to our Attendance Coordinator, Thomas Lefevre.

Students across Florida are invited to celebrate Hispanic heritage by participating in the 2026 Hispanic Heritage Art and Essay Contests, themed "Celebrating Florida's Hispanic Heritage."

🎶 Ukulele Time in Kindergarten! 🎶

Our kindergarten Gators had a little extra music in their day as Ms. Cone, our strings teacher, introduced them to the ukulele! 🎵

There’s something special about watching our youngest learners explore an instrument, discover new sounds, and experience the joy of making music together. These early experiences help build confidence, creativity, curiosity, and a love for the arts.

At Muller Elementary Magnet School, “Where Excellence Grows and Takes the Stage” starts with opportunities just like this. 💙💛

Today our Muller Gators came together for one of our favorite school traditions, our Gator Gathering!

As a Leader in Me school, these gatherings are about so much more than celebrating. They are opportunities for our students to build leadership, reflect on accomplishments, set goals, celebrate one another, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Muller special.

We reminded our Gators that leadership starts with recognizing that their choices, actions, effort, and attitude matter. Every student has the ability to lead, grow, and contribute to our school community.

Our theme, “Where Excellence Grows and Takes the Stage,” connects perfectly to our Leader in Me journey. We are growing leaders who take ownership of their learning, encourage others, set goals, and confidently take the stage to show what they can accomplish.

And, of course, we ended our celebration the Muller way with our signature Gator Chomp Dance! 🐊

At Muller Elementary Magnet School, we’re not just growing excellence. We’re growing leaders!

🎶 Can you make music with science? Absolutely! 🔬

Our 3rd–5th grade Muller Gators are invited to try this month’s At-Home Science Challenge: Musical Water Glasses!

Using just glasses, water, and a spoon, students can explore sound energy and pitch by changing the amount of water in each glass. Fill, tap, listen, compare, and investigate: How does the amount of water affect the sound you hear?

Don’t stop at the experiment! Ask your young scientist to explain the pattern they notice, make a prediction, and use evidence from their investigation to explain their thinking.

Who knows…you might even create a little song while you’re experimenting! 🎵

Science learning doesn’t have to stop when the school day ends! 🔎🏠

Our K–2 Muller Gators can become scientists right at home with this month’s At-Home Science Challenge: Treasure Box Sorting!

Families can gather everyday household objects and challenge their young scientist to observe, describe, compare, and classify them by properties such as soft or rough, hard or soft, light or heavy, and big or small. Then, mix it up and see if they can sort the SAME objects in a different way!

The best part? Ask your child WHY they placed each object in its group. That conversation is where science thinking really grows!

Simple materials + family conversation + curious minds = meaningful science learning! 💡🐊
