Some of the stocking stuffers have arrived!
Happy Monday. This Saturday, December 16 from 10 am to Noon we are gathering at HCC’s campus on Dale Mabry (by the Bucs stadium). We are going to stuff stockings for the children that are temporarily staying at A Kids Place. You are welcome to bring stocking stuffers.
The children are sibling sets that have been removed from their homes by DCF. There are approximately 60 kids (5 babies/toddlers, 5 teenagers and 50 elementary age kids).
We have stockings, socks, chapsticks, Burt’s bees sets, Sippy cups, key chains for backpacks. Suggestions: small LEGO sets, playing cards, pens, pencils, stickers, coloring books, Takis snacks, etc.

Take time for yourself! We forget to do it...and every year, we hear women saying, "This year I am going to take time for me." But we get busy in our everyday activities and forget about the things that helps to drive us, or our own passions and dreams. Sometimes, it's hard to even identify what those passions and dreams used to be! Take a moment today to take a deep breathe and think of something you will do today for YOU today!
