Mrs. Lipke’s K3 class had so much fun reviewing shapes today! They practiced identifying and naming different shapes, finding shapes around their classroom, and even used their own bodies to make shapes! 🤸‍♀️

Learning shapes through movement and hands-on play makes learning fun, memorable, and engaging.

Now serving… a good book!

Our Middle Division students stepped into the “Book Café” for a special Book Tasting! Students rotated from table to table, sampling different genres, authors, and stories to discover books that sparked their interest.

Along the way, students practiced important ELA skills by previewing texts, examining genre and text features, making predictions, and using evidence from their first impressions to evaluate which books might be the right fit for them. 📖✨

No reservations required, just an appetite for a great story!

Welcome to the Disaster Zone! 🌪️🌋🌊

Our 9th grade Geography students are hard at work creating their “Disaster Zone” Museum Exhibit boards! As they explore different natural disasters, students are learning how these powerful events can reshape the Earth’s physical characteristics and impact the people and communities in the areas they affect.

We love seeing our Faith Warriors bring geography to life through hands-on learning, research, and creativity!

Honoring Our Flag, Honoring Our Nation 🇺🇸

Our Middle Division Civics students had the special opportunity to learn firsthand the proper way to raise, lower, and fold the American flag with the respect and care it deserves.

Our guest speakers shared the importance of our flag, what it represents, and the responsibility and honor that come with caring for it each day. Students were reminded that raising and lowering our flag is more than a daily task. It is an opportunity to show respect for our country and to honor the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed to defend the freedoms we enjoy.

We are so grateful for the wonderful relationships we have with our local servicemen and women and for their willingness to partner with us in teaching our students lessons in respect, responsibility, and service.❤️🤍💙

It is always a special experience for our Faith Warriors, and one we hope they will carry with them for years to come! 🇺🇸

And just like that… we’re BACK! 📚✏️

Yesterday was an amazing first day at BCS! Our halls were full, classrooms were full of excitement, and our Faith Warriors were back together again.

From meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones to learning classroom routines, finding their way around campus, and jumping into a brand-new year, everyone is already starting to settle in and find their rhythm.

There’s something so special about seeing our campus full of students again, and we couldn’t be more excited for all that this year will bring. As we celebrate 55 years of Bayshore Christian School, we are thankful for another year to learn, grow, build community, and continue changing lives for Christ.

Day one is officially in the books. Here’s to an incredible 2026–2027 school year, Faith Warriors!

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Anthony Piragnoli, Upper Division English Teacher, to BCS.

Mr. Piragnoli graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Editing, Writing, and Media. For the past five years, he taught English to students in 6th – 12th grade at Robert F. Munroe Day School in Tallahassee, Florida. He also served as an assistant football coach for three years.

Mr. Piragnoli’s path to the classroom began with a teacher who made a lasting impact and was strengthened by his faith and trust in God’s guidance.

“My greatest inspiration for becoming a teacher was my high school English teacher, who instilled in me a love of learning and literary analysis. After many hours spent in prayer, I felt God calling me to pursue a career in education.”

His hobbies and interests include writing, reading, and playing sports. He has spent this summer working at Camp Bayshore. A fun fact about him is that he helped more than 20 cats find their forever homes through adoption.

Like many, he finds that his favorite Bible verse changes with the different seasons of life. Currently, he is drawn to Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Mr. Piragnoli looks forward to bringing his excitement for English to his students and fostering meaningful discussions that encourage critical thinking while helping students develop a deeper appreciation for literature and the writing process.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Faith Warrior family and to share my love for literature and literary analysis. I am passionate about helping students grow not only intellectually, but also spiritually, as they develop both inside and outside the classroom. My hope is that my enthusiasm for teaching will encourage students to engage thoughtfully with the material and discover a genuine love for learning.”
