We recently honored our 8th grade graduates with a moving commencement ceremony surrounded by family, friends, alumni, mentors, faculty, staff, trustees, and the Academy Prep community. It was a celebration filled with pride, joy, and excitement as we reflected on the growth, achievements, and bright futures of our students.

A heartfelt thank you to David Estrada, Academy Prep Class of 2017, for delivering a powerful and uplifting commencement address that inspired our graduates as they prepare for the journey ahead.

As our graduates begin high school, they carry with them the knowledge, character, perseverance, and leadership skills developed during their years at Academy Prep. We are confident they are prepared to embrace new opportunities, overcome challenges, and make a positive impact in their communities.

And while this chapter has come to a close, the Academy Prep journey continues. Through our Graduate Support Program, we remain committed to mentoring and supporting our alumni through high school, college, and beyond, ensuring they always have a team cheering them on every step of the way.

What's the cure for testing stress? Four paws and a wagging tail. 🐾 AP Tampa students received a visit from our therapy dog, Mackie, who reminded everyone to breathe, play, and relax. This is the last week of school and our students have been working hard through testing and have shown great dedication. Our 8th graders are nearing the finish line! 🏁

🍽️✨ A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Parent Council for putting together the most delicious and thoughtful Teacher Appreciation Lunch! From the food provided by Chef and Parent Ms. Nelson, to the love poured into every detail from Ms. Moore and Ms. Saintil, you all knocked it out of the park. AP Tampa Teachers and front office, we are so grateful for everything you do for our students every single day! Thank you to our staff and administration who made the week special and all the work you do each and every day! ❤️🍎

APTAMPA Partner Spotlight! Regions Bank collaborated with our campus to provide an exciting opportunity for Academy Prep students through an engaging program aimed at enhancing financial literacy and connecting classroom lessons with real-life scenarios. With the help of volunteers from Regions Bank, our eighth students engaged in in-class lessons on budgeting, saving, and career planning before heading to Finance Park. At Finance Park, each student was then assigned their roles. Some students got jobs at Truist Bank or worked at GTE Electric Company. The students took on various positions within the community and experienced firsthand how financial decisions impact everyday life. Regions Bank returned to campus to work with our seventh grade students giving them an opportunity to run a business, allowing students to gain practical experience and develop essential skills for their future. Thank you, Regions Bank, for making a significant impact on our students and preparing them for the future! 💚
