Today we made our “Journey to Jesus” for our first school Mass. We learned in the gospel how to kindly correct our neighbors and pray for them when they’ve treated us wrong. God is good and gracious.

We pray that everyone is enjoying a safe, happy, and blessed summer. In just a few short weeks, we will return to the beautiful mission of educating the minds that will make a positive impact on our world. This will be another great year to remember.

Today we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, dignity, and hope.
Just 29 years after the good news made its way to Galveston, TX, St. Peter Claver Catholic School was founded to educate children whose God-given dignity was too often ignored by society. What began as a mission to serve those viewed as “less than” became a witness to a greater truth: every person is created in the image and likeness of God.
For more than a century, St. Peter Claver Catholic School has formed young minds, strengthened families, and helped generations of students discover their worth as beloved children of God.
As we celebrate Juneteenth, we give thanks for the progress that has been made, remember the sacrifices that made freedom possible, and recommit ourselves to building a future rooted in faith, justice, and love.
Jesus, keep us free in You🙏🏾
