👉🏼 Architecture: One of the most significant differences between machine learning and deep learning is the architecture used to build the models. Machine learning models are based on traditional statistical models and algorithms, while deep learning models are built using complex neural networks.

👉🏼 Data Requirements: Machine learning algorithms work well with small to medium-sized data sets, whereas deep learning algorithms require large amounts of data to train effectively.

👉🏼 Feature Engineering: In machine learning, domain experts need to perform feature engineering to extract the relevant features that can help in making predictions. Deep learning models can automatically learn features from the raw data, without any need for manual feature engineering.

👉🏼 Hardware Requirements: Deep learning algorithms require high-end hardware resources, such as Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and Tensor Processing Units (TPUs), to train large neural networks effectively. Machine learning algorithms can work with standard CPUs.

👉🏼 Accuracy: Deep learning algorithms tend to achieve higher accuracy than machine learning algorithms, especially for complex tasks such as image and speech recognition. However, this comes at the cost of higher computational requirements and longer training times.
