One of my favorite up cycle projects I’ve ever done. Found these chairs on FB Market place and knew it would be work the effort to bring them back to life. 💖

Sewing oil cloth for the first time was a little hard at first but now that I got the hang of it I’m hooked! Here’s are some tips:

1. Use a Teflon presser foot or put a piece of scotch tape on the bottom of your presser foot to help feed the fabric through.

2. Sewing clips not pins! Pins leave holes and Clips work much better to hold the fabric together.

3. Binding, or plain/decorative stitches to finish edges. Trying to turn this stuff right side out is a pain!

Thanks for the gorgeous fabric!

Recently discovered my new favorite way to adjust size a graphic tee to have a baggy fit.

I never really liked cutting out graphics and patching the graphic onto a new T-shirt so this is my new way of reintegrated my old band tees back into my wardrobe.

Project essentials:
- Sharp scissors or rotary cutter.
- Fabric marking tool. I used tailors chalk
- Old Tee
- New Tee
- Cute puppy or other animal ~ optional 🐶

My new favorite granny-chic mini handbag. The bag is self drafted using various inspo pics and the fabric is a vintage textile I picked up from a local 4H fabric sale.

I feel it needs some hardware or something to breakup the pattern. But for now, it’s perfect. ✨
