I has been a while since I've posted on here, but that is for good reason! I have been booked and busy which is good.

Due to the current health and economic climate, there have been a couple updates made to the website!

Happy Saturday lovely people, I'm swinging in with some updates.

In case you haven't heard, I am now fully vaccinated. Our covid protocol will still stay in tact for the time being but that's important to let you all know.

Secondly, I am in the process of filling summer slots. If you have reached out, please be patient I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience and interest. 😊

Happy Monday!!

It came to my attention that some of our posts never went live 😂 yay, technology!

So, here I'm featuring our last post for Black History Month (the lawmakers and scientists!) that came out a couple weeks back in the last week of February and our last featured blog series post for the time being.

In that post we feature some amazing books for all ages for our Latinx community! There are some super good ones on this list and some that are super close to my own heart.

In this post, we will be exploring many of the great leaders of the past and some of the present. There will be some background on who they were as well as book listings for more information about their story (for children and older readers).

Happy February!!! It's a good month everyone!

In honor of Black History Month, we will be featuring some incredible leaders in the black community. There will be activists, actors, lawmakers, chain breakers, artists, and authors included. Because we love to read, with each feature, there will be books linked for readers to do some further research.

A month is not nearly long enough to highlight all those who have made and continue to make a difference in this world. However, it is a start. Our goal is to spark that curiosity and awe, beginning the dialogue surrounding black history so that our readers can go out and explore on their own.

Black history is one of the many minority histories that has been hidden for far too long. We are thrilled and honored to bring awareness to this history and further the positive creation of future history.

Happy Wednesday! We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming for... BARGAINS!!

Yes, the time has finally come. If you've been keeping up with the blog posts you know I've promised to get around to sharing alternative purchasing options. Amazon, while not affiliated with us, is the easiest places to find all the books on the blog.

However, that doesn't make it the most accessible financially. SO, today's post explores some of my absolute favorite places to get good quality, brand new (or used) books on a budget.
