Students brought the Crusader Pride to TC Volleyball’s home opener and first season win!
Tampa Catholic Girls Volleyball won their home opener against Cambridge Christian in close matches with the Crusader crowd cheering them to victory! Green Locos showed up to bring the school spirit alongside TC’s cheer team, and the Crusaderettes kept the crowd going with their performance between matches.
Congratulations to the players, the coaches, and all who support our volleyball team! This marks new coach Veronica Dollar first game and first win with the team.
Overall, it was an evening of firsts for the girls volleyball this season, but certainly not lasts. We look forward to more victories, more teamwork, more cheering, and more Crusader Pride throughout the 2026-2027 atheltic year.

At TC, students have the opportunity to join all kinds of clubs and student organizations—from STEM Club and Drum Line to Theatre, Fashion Club, and everything in between!
Interest was booming at today’s lunch expo, and clubs are excited to welcome new members for the 2026–2027 school year. We can’t wait to see all the ways our students get involved! 🎉

Teacher Meet & Greet sent our Crusader parents back to school and sitting at a desk! 🏫📚✏️
It was so wonderful meeting the parents of our students and helping them better understand their child’s day at school.
Thank you to all who came to bridge connections and support your student! Also, thank you to our wonderful student ambassadors for handing out schedules, giving directions, and being a welcoming face to our guests on campus.
This year is going to be a great one!

TC Students Excel In Their Summer Internships
Summer vacation is a time to recharge, travel, and spend time with family; however, it gives a great opportunity to students to try something new, learn deeper, and be active in ways that are not possible during the school year. For many Tampa Catholic students, over the break, they found themselves getting involved with professional internship opportunities to broaden their horizons and jumpstart experience within their desired future career.
Grace Mendieta ‘27 was a cancer immunology research intern at Moffitt Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Shari Pilon-Thomas.
“During my internship, I observed and participated in harvesting T cells, assisted with flow cytometry sample preparation, recorded experimental data in laboratory notebooks, and attended lab meetings and research presentations discussing ongoing cancer immunology studies,” she said. “Working alongside researchers gave me firsthand exposure to the research process behind developing T-cell-based immunotherapies for cancer and reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in medicine and biomedical research.”

Congratulations to Bill Lee ‘71 on being a published author!
Bill sent Dr. Edwards a copy of the book with a message about how impactful his TC education was on his life.
We are grateful for him staying connected with the Crusader community and sharing this milestone accomplishment.
