"My Spring Break spent away in Cleveland was one of the best experiences of my life. Not only did I have the chance to tour and get to know an entirely different community, I also got to spend seven days with some totally awesome people that I wouldn't have had the chance to meet had I not sporadically signed up for this trip. You leave as a student and come back as a global citizen, having more of a grasp on society's problems even more in your mind as you got to put what you learned into play through the involvement of your work. Alternative Breaks are truly blessed times where laughter, fun, growth, and senses of accomplishment all come together in one. You can always be on Spring Break in Florida but what I got in Cleveland during that time? Nothing beats it"

Your University of Tampa Alternative Breaks team is leaving in just a few days for our Spring Break trips! Team Knoxville will be helping add onto and fix houses and Team Cleveland will be visiting and volunteering with non-profits all over the city. We can't wait!

The Alternative Breaks team is excited for the two upcoming Spring Break trips working with Community Engagement in Cleveland, OH and Housing Development in Knoxville, TN! :)

Things are heating up in the Alternative Break Program as we begin to finalize trips for the 2016-2017 academic year!
