I know it is still months away but I start scheduling in advance and usually make schedules that mirror the school year.

We love working with homeschool kids and we do provide invoices for reimbursement.

Hi! My name is Hannah! I started Music Lessons by Hannah Marie and I am a music teacher! I am also a local singer-songwriter and I write and produce my own faith based music.

I started playing the drums at 6 years old. I taught myself guitar and piano at 13 years old and then moved onto writing music and singing. More recently, I’ve learned bass guitar and bits of violin. I have also taught myself to produce music so I can bring my songs to life and release them for everyone to enjoy.

How did Music Lessons by Hannah Marie start?

Music Lessons by Hannah Marie started almost 5 years ago. I was at a park and I met a woman. She mentioned how she homeschooled her kids and how they loved music but it was very expensive to have a teacher come to their house. I told her I played multiple instruments and that I loved music but was also self-taught. She immediately asked me to try out giving her kids classes at a reasonable price and even though I was unsure, I accepted. She was my very first client and also someone that helped refer me several clients afterwards!

Through out the years I have offered group band classes, worked with homeschool groups like Tampa Bay HEAT, FISH homeschool, and a few homeschool coops in Pinellas county as well! I have started an after school music program at Tampa Bay Christian Academy and also taught group music classes at South Tampa Microschool. I have had the honor of teaching many students in home and fostering their love for music in a unique way.

—My goal has always been to keep it affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.—

Now years later, I have had enough clients to hire another teacher to work for me and we have grown every year! We approach music in a creative way in realizing that each student will have their own needs. We work to tailor our teaching methods to each student based on how they learn and what inspires them to continue learning music. We want to grow in each student a love for music.

Thank you for the love and support as we have grown. I am excited to see where this business will lead and how we can continue serving students and fostering their love for music all around the Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.

We have been so blessed this year to have so many clients come through word of mouth advertising! Thank you all for spreading the word about the music lessons we offer!

Currently, we are only open for vocal/piano lessons.

When the bass falls on the A it’s harder for my younger students…I’m proud of the perseverance this student has had despite some discouragement in learning how to play this beat!

Her dedication at the ripe age of 7 is inspiring! This student has done a fantastic job going from barely being able to play this song at 60% speed last week, to now playing it at 85%!! Currently, working on better hand positioning and sight reading more quickly with less thought.

Beyond that, if your school or Co-op is wanting an after school music program and doesn’t currently have one! We have a great program for after-school music! We can also provide a few instruments if there aren’t any.
