The Bridge Educational Foundation, through the generous support of Raymond James, WM, and M&T Bank, is donating $60,000 in scholarship funds to families throughout Schuylkill County. These scholarships are made possible through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
The Bridge Educational Foundation visited Saint Jerome Regional School this week to celebrate this generous contribution, which will provide financial assistance to families attending several local schools. The beneficiaries include students from Saint Jerome Regional School, St. Joseph School for Special Learning, Assumption BVM Regional School, Nativity BVM High School, Marian Catholic, and St. Nicholas School.
The EITC program allows businesses to receive tax credits in exchange for contributions to educational improvement organizations, such as the Bridge Educational Foundation. Through the generosity of local businesses and organizations, these contributions make a meaningful difference in helping families access quality educational opportunities.
Also in attendance were Senator Dave Argall, Representative Tim Twardzik, Representative Jamie Barton, and representatives from each participating school.
We are incredibly grateful to the Bridge Educational Foundation and its generous supporters for investing in the students and families of Schuylkill County!
