🏛️🌎 LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM! 🐆📚

Our Wright Elementary School 4th Grade Jaguars enjoyed an exciting and educational field trip to Poverty Point World Heritage Site in Pioneer, Louisiana! 🚌✨

Our scholars had the incredible opportunity to explore one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites! They visited the museum and discovered fascinating facts about the Native American people who lived there, their culture, and how they constructed massive earthworks thousands of years ago.

🎯 One of the highlights of the trip was a hands-on demonstration of spear throwing using an atlatl, giving students a glimpse into the hunting techniques used by early civilizations!

This meaningful experience brought history to life as our scholars learned how early hunter-gatherers lived, gathered food, and adapted to their environment.

💛💙 At WES, learning goes beyond the four walls of the classroom! We believe that real-world experiences create lasting memories and deepen our scholars’ understanding of history and the world around them.

🍩💙 DONUTS FOR DAD: OVER 200 DADS SHOWED UP! 💙🍩

What an incredible turnout at Wright Elementary School! 🐆💛

We were thrilled to welcome over 200 dads and father figures who showed up to support their children and our school during our Donuts for Dad celebration! 👨‍👧‍👦🍩

It was a wonderful opportunity for dads to spend quality time with their children, connect with fellow fathers, share conversations, and build meaningful relationships within our school community. ❤️

Our principal, Mr. Javin Walker, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the dads and father figures who took time out of their busy schedules to participate and show their unwavering support.

Seeing so many fathers come together reminds us that strong schools are built through strong partnerships between families and educators.

🎃🍂 Our Superheroes had a super-duper time on their first field trip to the pumpkin patch! 🍂🎃

Our scholars enjoyed a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and exciting experiences. They had the opportunity to play, plant seeds, take a hayride, enjoy ice cream, and feed the animals. It was wonderful to see them exploring, learning, and making special memories together.

After our pumpkin patch adventure, we enjoyed lunch at Johnny’s Pizza. 🍕❤️

It was truly an awesome experience filled with fun, learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories! We are so proud of our Superheroes! Pre-k 4 Branch/Jackson 🎃🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏽‍♂️
