A true trailblazer joins the HIPS Hall of Fame 🌟 Janet Hartman has spent decades breaking barriers and redefining public safety in Florida. From being a first-generation college graduate to rising through the ranks as Chief of the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and To***co, and now making history as the first woman appointed Executive Director of the Florida Public Safety Institute, she continues to inspire future generations of leaders. Her legacy of service, leadership, and impact will be felt for years to come.

This Memorial Day, Tallahassee State College honors the brave service members who gave their lives for our freedom. We remember their sacrifice and extend our gratitude to the families who carry their legacy forward.

In honor of Memorial Day, campus will be closed on Monday, May 25. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
