Thank you Florida Association of School Administrators! 💜🐻
Thank you to the Osceola County School District for welcoming me as your guest presenter and to the Florida Association of School Administrators for connecting me with these amazing educational leaders!

I had the opportunity to present two important topics at the Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers (ECET2) Conference, "Hiring Training and Retaining Staff," and "Building a Positive Climate and Culture."

It was an honor to represent the Florida Association of School Administrators, accompanied by David Higgins, at the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) Education Summit in Louisville, Kentucky. Motto "Connect, Engage, Recharge!"

The conference atmosphere was electrifying, with Ronn Nozoe and his exceptional team leading the program and bringing educational leaders from all states together. I truly enjoyed and appreciated the time to collaborate with all the amazing state associations, most specifically sharing and learning with the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals, Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, Alabama Association of Secondary School Principals and the Louisiana Association of Principals.

We also had the opportunity to hear from impactful speakers like: Anya Kamenetz and Henry Timms, as well as exchange ideas with amazing leaders, such as Jayne Ellspermann (2015 NASSP National Principal of the Year & NASSP Past President), Beth Taylor Houf (2022 NASSP National Principal of the Year), and so many other phenomenal people.

The NASSP staff strategically closed out the conference with the NHS & NJHS students who shared their experiences in education, ideas to improve the learning process and how to mentally, socially and academically support students moving forward. Hearing and seeing these students were the highlight of the conference, extremely inspiring and gave hope for a bright future.
SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS: Give your leaders (staff & students) the push they are needing.

Some stories are better WATCHED than told. I have so much fun operating in my gift to influence and inspire leaders, wanna-be leaders, and those who don’t feel capable of being leaders. Young, old, and in between; it’s always fun.

In this short clip, a very small piece of my story is shared. Check it out. Find WHY, Discover HOW.

Our 2021 Tallahassee Internship spotlights continue with Ethan Sawyer, a first-year junior at the University of Florida pursuing a major in political science and minors in anthropology and leadership.

This spring, Ethan will intern in the Office of State Representative David Silvers representing Palm Beach County!

As a current intern with the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA), Ethan has gotten to know the city of Tallahassee. With FASA, Ethan has been advocating for bills that help the Florida school system.

In the past, Ethan served as president of the Florida Association of Student Councils which took him all over the state organizing students.

Best of luck in Tallahassee, Ethan!

Each spring, the Bob Graham Center and Gator Advocates partner to place students in Florida's Legislature, helping them develop experience as tomorrow's public servants. Learn more: bit.ly/3gjBeYy
