🎶 FSLA couldn’t resist joining the fun! Tag an insurance industry friend who’ll have this stuck in their head all day.

Our version of the @saxboybilly18 #puertoricosong lyrics, surplus lines style:
“First quote in Miami, mi amigo
Florida surplus lines, here we go
Hard-to-place but we can place it
Every risk, we’re gonna chase it
Didn’t fit in the standard stuff
So we stepped in E&S tough
It’s a wild market to navigate
Coastal risk and storm-rate debate
On my first deal in the Sunshine State
Wind and flood, we underwrite
Layers deep, we bind it tight
Brokers move with speed and insight
All of this in Florida E&S life!!!” 06/04/2026

From luxury yachts to specialty watercraft, Florida’s boat show season is a reminder that not every risk fits inside a standard insurance policy.

Events like the Palm Beach Boat Show highlight the important role of surplus lines insurers in helping provide specialized coverage solutions for complex marine risks. ⚓🌴

While peak boat show season may be wrapping up, Florida’s boating industry stays active year-round — and so does the need for innovative insurance solutions.

Thank you to FSLA member Stephen Shea for capturing these scenes from Palm Beach!
