Proper planning and preparation are critical to hosting a successful reunion. A small but mighty group of Baby Rattlers showed up and showed out! They certainly understood the assignment. The team also met with the FAMU High DRS Superintendent, Michael Johnson to get his support to host events on the campus. It was also a pleasure to meet the Dean of Education, Dr. Sarah Price.

Hello Baby Rattlers! Get ready for a major photo/video dump. A great professional photographer, Mr. Steve Byrum, masterfully captured so many wonderful moments during the FAMU High All Classes Reunion. Immediately preceding the reunion, the FAMU High Alumni Association also hosted a photoshoot at our Alma Mater. We are sharing those photos as well. The photos will be grouped and posted in albums, by events.

Enjoy, share, and tag a Rattler! πŸ§‘πŸπŸ’š

Hello Baby Rattlers, we can hardly contain our excitement about the All Classes Reunion, which starts on Thursday, July 6th. A fun-filled itinerary has been planned. The fun starts with the Jazz and Arts Alumni Mixer on Thurday, July 6, where published authors are invited to display their book (s). Three authors have already committed.

Focus on a Baby Rattler πŸ§‘πŸπŸ’š: Deloris Harpool, Author of The Life and Legacy of Allen Subdivision.

Hello Baby Rattlers,

We just received confirmation that there will be some changes to the Old FAMU High School buildings in the very near future. Consequently, the campus as many alumni experienced it, will no longer exist. To commemorate our time on the campus, the FAMU High Alumni Association has arranged for a photographer to capture a group picture in front of the Main Office and Library buildings tomorrow, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 4:00 pm. FAMU High or FAMU t-shirts, or orange and green attire are encouraged, but not required. Several of us missed the opportunity to capture photos of the FAMU gymnasium before it was demolished.

Please share this information with your network of Baby Rattlers.

See you tomorrow Baby Rattlers!

Let the trash-talking begin! The FAMU High vs. Rickards High Alumni coed basketball game is less than 3 weeks away. Recruitment is underway for players and cheerleaders. The game is one of the highlights of the FAMU High All Classes Reunion. The game is FREE. Donations will be accepted and presented to the Sickle Cell Foundation. Get ready, get ready, get ready!

Rickards, if you're scared, say you're scared.
