W.T. Moore Elementary- Leon County Schools

Our school-wide Splash Bash was the perfect way to celebrate our students who met their end-of-the-year reading goals! We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and dedication our Mustangs showed all year long.

We wish all of our students, families, and staff a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer break. We can’t wait to welcome our Mustangs back in August for another amazing school year!

Our end-of-the-year celebrations included a special shopping spree to congratulate our third, fourth, and fifth graders for a job well done on their FAST assessments! We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication throughout the school year.

A huge thank you to Westminster Oaks Retirement Community and Five Below for your generous donations and support. Your kindness helped make this experience extra special for our students, and we are truly appreciative!

We are excited to add another new Kindergartener for next year. This mom picked up her child’s first W.T. Moore t-shirt today. Welcome to the class of 2039!!!

What a final week we had at Moore!! Tuesday, we celebrated our amazing fifth graders at their promotion ceremony! We could not be more proud of all they have accomplished and the growth they’ve shown throughout the year. Their hard work, kindness, leadership, and determination have truly made us proud to call them Mustangs.

As they move on to their next chapter, we know they will continue to do incredible things. Remember: once a Mustang, always a Mustang! 🐴✨

We enjoyed celebrating all our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who scored a Level 5 on their FAST tests with a Pizza Party today!

Please remember to turn in your library books. ALL books are due now.

These funds will go directly to the American Heart Association to support lifesaving research, improve access to care, and help people live healthier lives.

Your time, energy, generosity, and support made a real impact. Every donation helps strengthen this important mission, and we are so grateful for our amazing school community.

Moore students had a blast participating in the Kids Heart Challenge, especially jumping rope and watching their teachers and staff join in during Physical Education!
