Welcome to W.T. Moore, Amanda Falanga!

Ms. Falanga recently got engaged and relocated to Tallahassee. She is originally from Long Island, New York. However, this will be her fourth year teaching in Florida. Ms. Falanga holds a Master’s degree in TESOL from ASU, a Bachelor’s degree in Child Study, and a minor in Art.

In her spare time, she loves exploring different small towns, baking, and creating art work. Ms. Falanga looks forward to joining the wonderful school community at W.T. Moore and to an amazing year ahead.

Mrs. Aviles has been teaching since 1997 and has a Bachelors in Liberal Arts and Social Science and a Masters in Early Childhood and Special Education. She loves working with young students and is excited to be a Mustang.

We are exited to welcome Katie Broome to W.T. Moore as our new Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)!

Katie was a Kindergarten teacher for 16 years and holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Florida. She also earned a Master’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. Her extensive background in education and speech-language pathology reflects a strong commitment to supporting children’s learning, communication, and overall development.

In her free time, Katie enjoys reading and watching her son play baseball and golf.

Monique Eick holds a master's degree in Special Education from Florida State University. Ms. Eick has taught multiple grades at Buck Lake Elementary, where she has been recognized for her innovative teaching and contributions to the school. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time adventuring with her daughters, lifting weights, reading, and crafting. She is looking forward to bringing her love of math and science to WT Moore!

We are excited to welcome another family to our Kindergarten class. Registration for 2026-2027 is open now! When families complete their kindergarten registration, they will be invited to come pick up their child's first W.T. Moore t-shirt!

Our school-wide Splash Bash was the perfect way to celebrate our students who met their end-of-the-year reading goals! We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and dedication our Mustangs showed all year long.

We wish all of our students, families, and staff a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer break. We can’t wait to welcome our Mustangs back in August for another amazing school year!

Our end-of-the-year celebrations included a special shopping spree to congratulate our third, fourth, and fifth graders for a job well done on their FAST assessments! We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication throughout the school year.
