We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Womenās Leadership Institute Student Coordinator positions!
Past participants already know how impactful WLI can be. Serving as a student coordinator provides the opportunity to help shape that experience for the next cohort.
Student coordinators play an essential role in ensuring the institute remains relevant, powerful, and deeply meaningful. In this position, youāll contribute your insight and enthusiasm to the planning committee while gaining hands-on event planning experience, developing transferable professional skills, and building community across the FSU campus.
This is a fantastic opportunity for continued growth and exploration as you further define what it means to be a leader.

EngageTLH -- Waters of Wakulla Service Tour šæš§
The Waters of Wakulla Tour explores the fascinating waterways of Leon and Wakulla Counties.
EngageTLH participants on the Sunday tour learned the importance of protecting storm drains and waterways in Tallahassee from Kellie Keys of , as they developed greater understanding of the direct connections between FSU campus stormwater and Wakulla Springs.
Students also engaged in direct service through a water clean-up at Lake Munson and moved from understanding to sustainable action through direct and indirect service planning and reflection facilitated by EngageTLH facilitators and Community Ambassadors.
We hope to offer another tour through EngageTLH in the spring, but groups of 10 or more with personal transportation can reach out to directly.

Grads Made Good - Over 100 graduates of Florida State University have been recognized as Grads Made Good since 1974, a program honoring alumni who have made outstanding contributions in their community or chosen field.
The Center for Leadership & Service is proud to play a role in celebrating the longitudinal leadership commitment among alumni recipients of the Grads Made Good award, which is presented in partnership with the FSU Alumni Association and FSU Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK).
The 2025 honorees recognized for making exceptional contributions in their community or redefining standards within their respective fields include the following:
> James "Chef" Barlow (B.S. '95) is a retired U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and pioneering entrepreneur who transformed military training through innovation and leadership.
>Larry Hogan (B.S. '78) served as the 62nd governor of Maryland from 2015 to 2023. He also served as commander in chief of the Maryland National Guard and chaired the Board of Public Works.
>Eduardo PƩrez (B.S. '89) is a marketing innovator, entrepreneur and investor with a career rooted in multicultural strategy and creative leadership.
>Leslie Webber (BSN '99) is director of nursing for pediatric emergency services at Wolfson Childrenās Hospital, where she oversees the emergency department, ECMO and Flex Teams.
