Our dean, Alma Littles, M.D., received an unexpected and welcome surprise May 27, when Stephanie Nicholas, associate director of development for UF Health, notified her she was selected to be included on the UF College of Medicine Wall of Fame. Littles received her bachelorโs degree and M.D. from UF. Nicholas presented Dr. Littles with a bouquet of roses and a letter from Jennifer Hunt, M.D., M.Ed., interim dean, UF College of Medicine, which states Dr. Littles received this honor given by the UF Medical Alumni Association for her โperseverance and dedication to medicine as not only an exemplary doctor, but also . . . extraordinary commitment to rural health, medical education, and expanding access to care for underserved communities.โ Congratulations Dean Littles!
