FSU College of Social Sciences and Public Policy Student Leadership Council The SLC is dedicated to providing opportunities for both personal and professional growth to members of the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy.

Be sure to check the page for announcements about upcoming events! The Student Leadership Council serves as a liaison group between the student body and the Florida State University. The council is composed of discipline-specific, exemplary social science students with the purpose of working directly with the dean and other college administration to provide a student perspective in deciding and implementing the goals and initiatives of the college. The council creates and oversees beneficial programming for students in an attempt to improve opportunities for personal and professional growth and for advancing the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy to preeminent status in alignment with the goals of the dean and the Board of Governors.

Come join the SLC at “Past Paths and Future Visions” to reflect on the past, navigate the present, and plan for the future! 🌎

“Past Paths and Future Visions” is an SLC event aimed at exploring the guiding personal philosophies behind student actions and the methodologies utilized when achieving their goals!

At the event, students will engage in various activities from curating vision boards with the SLC, questioning a panel of student leaders on their own experiences, and engaging in informative games like FSU History Trivia. We hope to see you there!
