Friday was spent exploring Cascades Lake with the Westminster Oaks Retirement Community! What a lovely place to take a leisurely paddle among the cypress trees!
Today was spent floating the always incredible Wakulla River with the Tallahassee Senior Center!

What a whirlwind of a BEAUTIFUL weekend!!
Thursday was spent on the Wakulla River (with manatees)
Saturday we hopped around and swam in several springs along the upper Wacissa
Sunday HSO and company hit the historic and old Florida slave canal
Today we viewed the eclipse from big blue on the upper Wacissa

Saturday was for paddling the always gorgeous Wakulla river! Although the manatees are starting to move about and spread more into the gulf, you can still find ‘em cruising the river! And remember kids, slow those boats down!

Great family opportunity to teach the next generation!
St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge invites you to Family Fishing Day on April 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Young anglers new or experienced are invited to fish with the Rangers. Fishing gear, bait, ice water, and education materials will be provided; fishing gear supplies are limited. Bring your sunscreen, hats, insect repellent, snacks, beverage, and fishing gear.
Parking will be located off Lighthouse Road, left on Primitive Walking Trail (road will be marked for event). A tram will be available to take guests to the fishing site.
