This week, our 5th grade students launched into learning—literally! Thanks to two rocket launcher pads generously donated by SpaceTrek, a nonprofit connected with NASA and the Challenger Learning Center’s teacher outreach, students were able to build and launch hydro rockets made from everyday household materials.

As part of the hands-on activity, students explored Newton’s Laws of Motion while designing, testing, and launching their rockets—turning science into an unforgettable, sky-high experience.

Huge thanks to our amazing, STEM teacher, Warren Watts for sponsoring this incredible opportunity and to our amazing 5th grade teachers for bringing STEM to life.

First grade wrapped up an amazing year with a fun-filled family picnic yesterday! It was a beautiful day of sunshine, laughter, and sweet memories shared with loved ones. Thank you to all the families who joined us. We are so proud of everything our first graders have accomplished this year!

Another Friday shoutout alert! Huge congratulations to Mrs. Buckles and our amazing Mustangs STEAM Bowl team for their outstanding performance yesterday. Your teamwork and creative problem-solving truly shined. Way to represent!
