When I first joined my freshman year, AOII quickly became my home away from home and in these last two years, this chapter has given me my best friends and some of my favorite memories. I am so blessed to be surrounded by the most inspiring, ambitious, and motivated women who constantly push me to be the best version of myself. So far in this role, I have loved the opportunity to create experiences for our sisters that encourage personal growth, connection, and highlight the values that make our chapter so special! “My experience as Director of Philanthropy has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time in AOII. This role has given me the opportunity to directly contribute to a cause close to my heart, and to connect my sisters with the why behind our philanthropy. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in individuals in the United States affecting millions of people, including children yet is often overlooked. Arthritis isn’t always visible and because of this we don’t often realize how deeply it impacts daily life which is exactly why awareness is so important. This month and every month our chapter is proud to support the Arthritis foundation.“

“Hi everyone! I’m Skyler and I’m currently AOII’s Vice President of Finance. I joined AOII in spring of 2024 after transferring to FSU from UF. From the first time I talked with a sister, I knew I was home. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for a better group of women to be surrounded by! I’ve loved my time being on AOII leadership so far. It’s been an incredible learning experience and I’m so grateful to the women of this chapter for trusting me with such an important role!! This semester, we celebrated our Quadrennial Red Rose Ball, a special AOII tradition. Held every four years, this event gives each sister the opportunity to experience it once as a collegiate member and brings our chapter together for a meaningful formal evening.

To our Grads,
