Lively Technical College proudly hosted its first-ever Scholarship Luncheon, bringing together students, donors, faculty, staff, and community supporters to celebrate opportunity, generosity, and student success. 🎓✨

The event honored scholarship recipients and the donors whose support is creating life-changing pathways for Lively students across the Big Bend region. Guests also heard inspiring stories about the impact of investing in workforce education.

This special luncheon marked the official launch of Lively’s scholarship program, creating even more opportunities to support the next generation of skilled professionals.

✨Student Spotlight: Thomas Pizarro ✨

Lively Technical College is proud to recognize Thomas Pizarro, an outstanding Advanced Welding student who graduated this spring! Thomas began his journey at Lively through Dual Enrollment and discovered his passion for welding while building a strong foundation for his future career.

One of Thomas’s proudest accomplishments was being selected to represent Lively Technical College at the Associated Builders and Contractors National Craft Championships in Las Vegas, where he trained and competed alongside fellow welding students on a national stage.

Thomas encourages future students to “follow your heart, work hard, and pursue your goals.” After graduation, he plans to travel the country pursuing exciting opportunities in the welding industry.

We are proud of Thomas and all he has accomplished at Lively!
