Since KKP is not able to offer lunch bunch this school year, are there any SAHMs who may be able to watch my 4/5yr old daughter after VPK hours from 12-3p each day? Willing to pay the same cost as lunch bunch would be for those hours. My husband and I both work, and I would hate to have my daughter miss her last year at KKP, but if we can’t find childcare from 12-3, we will have to move her somewhere else. Did you Hear about our special guest at devotion today? It’s Hh week for VPK, so the Halvorsen’s brought their Horse to say, “Hello!”
We had our First Fire drill, and everyone did a Fabulous job Following instructions! Also, VPK's letter of the week this week is....Ff! How Fitting :-)

Day 1 at Monumental VBS -
We learned God loves us no matter what.
We heard the story of Joseph's Family Feuds (Genesis 37) and learned "Your unfailing love will last forever." (Psalm 89:2)
We met Harley the Gila Monster, our Bible Buddy for the day and Cliff Towers, a less-than-adventurous reality TV star.
We made Southwest Sunshine with baby carrots and ranch dressing for snack and hear about Samuel, a boy who's eyes may not work well, but he can see God's greatness and knows God loves him no matter what!
Our PreK-K kids decorated their Gila Monsters with colorful gems.
Ranger Shirley showed us that even we "blow it," God still sticks with us.
Our Mission Project this year at VBS is raising funds and collecting new and gently used books for Ferst Readers of Leon County. You can find out more about them at https://www.facebook.com/ferstreadersleoncounty. Our goal is to raise $1,800 to provide books for one Head Start Center for one year.

Special shout out and thank you to our VPK staff kiddo! Jacob’s mom works in our 2’s classes, so Jacob got to come to school early every day this year! He was such a big helper and always rang the morning bell then gathered the staff for prayer circle! We sure are going to miss you next year, Jacob! Here he is ringing his final prayer bell this morning!
