We Remember. We Honor. We Serve.
Today, the Florida State University Schools community pauses to remember the lives lost and the countless individuals and families forever impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
We honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives and pay special tribute to the first responders, firefighters, police officers, emergency personnel, military members, and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable circumstances.
We also remember the families who experienced loss, the survivors who continue to carry those memories, and the first responders who have faced lasting impacts in the years since.
May we never forget the courage displayed that day, the lives forever changed, and the spirit of unity and compassion that emerged in its aftermath.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
