Summer 2026 Hours Announcement!
03/13/2026
Ahoy, students! The FSU Food for Thought Pantry will have adjusted hours for the 2026 Spring Break. Currently enrolled students will be able to visit us from 12 pm-5 pm Monday through Friday. You may see a lower level of stock some days due to disruptions to a few of our standard pick ups/deliveries but we will definitely have food coming in throughout the week! When we reopen on Monday March 23 it will be at our standard Fall/Spring Monday hours (8 am-5 pm).
12/08/2025
Though this week we are open for our standard Fall/Spring operating hours, there will be changes next week as well as the week we return!
Later this week we will share information about how to access resources off campus during our closure.

Thanks to all of our donors who keep our shelves stocked!

Join us tomorrow for our final mobile distribution of the semester. Stop by to pick up food items for your winter break holidays including a frozen chicken provided by Seminole Dining. Registered Dietitians from CHAW will introduce you to some recipes destined to become mainstays at your celebrations: cheesy lentil pie, white chicken chili, and warm apple crisp. The Pantry will supply a variety of holiday table classics.
While the weather is supposed to be rainy in the morning, we should be in the clear by 11 am. We encourage all students to be mindful of food safety--these items should be picked up as a stop by campus or on your way home from class.
We will announce the winner of the Chop & Chomp: Beat UF Beat Hunger Food Drive at the conclusion of this event!

Thanksgiving is next week and we are here to help.

Did you know?
Within the Department of Student Support & Transitions, the Pantry is part of the Basic Needs Hub which provides resources and support to students facing food insecurity but also housing and other forms of financial insecurity.
Usually when we solicit donations they are available to all currently-enrolled students but right now the Pantry needs your help making sure students who seek help during some of the most challenging periods of their lives have access to personal hygiene products and laundry detergent.
Can you commit to providing a few of these items or making a full kit to dedicate to a student who is starting anew after experiencing homelessness or to aid a student who has recently escaped violence?
