Thank you all so much for everything you do to develop and assist everyone at Florida State! The faculty is such an integral part of a university that leaves a lasting impact on everyone. I know some R&R is needed after all of the work that goes on and I recently saw that World of Beer has specials on “College Mondays” for faculty and students. If you bring a valid faculty or student ID, you can get $9 liquor pitchers, $5.95 burgers with a side, $4 Golden Monkey, $5 Giant Pretzel, $4 Sour Monkey, and BOGO Premium Liquor from open to close. If you fill out this link:
http://eepurl.com/hWYxK9 you'll get a free liquor pitcher and appetizer sampler! I think WOB is a great spot to unwind for anyone in the Tallahassee area!

Irvin Manuel Gonzalez (he/him/his) is an Assistant Professor in FSU Dance and an artivist, scholar, and teacher. Gonzalez’s scholarship analyzes the constructs of brownness, q***rness, and mexicanidad(es) within social dancing, looking at how immigrant, q***r, and working-class dancers navigate trans/national politics through feeling and creativity. Particularly, he examines how Mexican/Mexican American quebradita dancers on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, embody affective affiliations to forge belonging as strategy. His teaching areas include contemporary Latin American aesthetics and dance theory/history.
