Today’s Student Spotlight welcomes Isabella Arechavaleta from our MS in Elementary Education

β€œI have been student teaching in second grade at Bond Elementary for nearly a year, a path inspired by my mother, who is my greatest influence and motivation. I am deeply involved in both the classroom and the school community, including collaborating with Mrs. Akiesha Dupree to help launch the Bond Elementary Food Bank. As the food bank’s social media coordinator, I manage marketing efforts and outreach to potential sponsors and donors, helping connect local Tallahassee organizations with students in need. My students and mentors, especially Mrs. Clara Hampton, keep me motivated every day. Long-term, I hope to remain in the classroom while continuing nonprofit and community-based work that supports and uplifts local students.”
