It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of Linda Sutherland, former Orange County School Board member and FSBA President (1996-1997), who passed away on Sunday. Linda was a pillar in our community. Her dedication to public education will leave a lasting legacy. Our deepest condolences go out to her family and friends.

We are pleased to welcome FSBA members to Tallahassee for the 37th Annual Day in the Legislature. Today's agenda includes legislative briefings and strategic discussions focused on advocating for high-quality public education.


Today we reflect on the wisdom of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His message of love, justice, and equality still resonates and guides us towards a better future.
