School zone speed enforcement resumes tomorrow, August 12.

Cameras will operate during active school zone hours. There will be no warning period, and full enforcement with $100 civil penalties will begin immediately.

This program is about protecting students and creating safer school zones. Slow down, stay focused and help us begin the school year safely.

Jaxon Hardy is proud to return to his alma mater as the Head Golf Coach at Leon High School. A lifelong Tallahassee native, Jaxon graduated from Leon in 1999 after playing on the Leon Golf Team all four years. During his senior year, he was named to the First Team All-Big Bend Golf Team.
Following Leon, Jaxon attended Florida State University, where he became the first graduate of FSU’s Professional Golf Management (PGM) program, earning his degree in Hospitality Management through the School of Business.
Jaxon is excited to bring his passion for golf, competitive experience, and love for Leon High School back to the program that helped shape him. His goal is to build a competitive program focused on excellence, sportsmanship, character, and player development while giving today’s Leon golfers the opportunity to experience the same pride he felt representing the Lions.
Once a Lion, always a Lion.
