Did you miss the TSA interest meeting? Many of you have expressed your inability to attend the last meeting because of a schedule conflict.
So, for those of you who couldn't make it, we will have another meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2013 @4:40 p.m. in the TRiO Annex Building (next to the TRiO Offices).
Come be a part of an exciting organization that will sharpen your leadership skills!
The TRiO Scholars Association (TSA) is a student-led organization that is designed to promote student leadership of SSS students. Participants have the opportunities to attend leadership conferences, plan events, and gain practical leadership skills.
Participants will have the opportunity to help build an organization from the ground up while learning valuable and marketable characteristics that you can put on your resume. This is a fun way to participate in campus activities and help plan community service, fundraising, and social events.
We are looking for students who are serious about actively participating in an organization and learning how to be a great leader. Experience is not mandatory. The only requirement is that all participants maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.50.
If you are enrolled in school this summer and are interested in participating with the TSA, please attend our first meeting this Monday, September 16, 2013 @5:00p.m. at the TRiO Annex (next to the TRiO Offices.
See you there!
