An engaging and thought-provoking discussion yesterday with Jack Kieffaber and Kyle Singhal! See you all at our next event.
We at the Federalist Society believe that the state exists to preserve freedom and that separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution.
We believe that the courts should interpret the law rather than using interpretation as a policy-making instrument or an alternative to the amendment process. Such judicial overreaching usurps the power of the legislature and the people. We wish to reorder priorities within the legal system to place a premium on individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law.

This past week, our secretary, Morgan Hughes, attended the Federalist’s Society National Lawyer’s Convention in Washington D.C.. This great event provides an opportunity to meet and listen to some of the nation’s most influential minds on pressing legal issues. Our chapter cannot wait to return next year (Hopefully with an open government)!
