Established in 1993, the Minority Business Society strives to provide professional development and networking opportunities to college students looking to enter into the professional and corporate world. We achieve our mission by coordinating programming and workshops, hosting corporate recruiters, and networking.

The Minority Business Society is happy introduce you to our President, Essence Malveau!

Essence is a senior, majoring in Marketing. Along with her involvement with MBS, Essence also serves as the financial secretary for Relay For Life, the recruitment chair for the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and is a member of the Kappa Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Her favorite quote to live by is "Be the change you want to see".
