Good morning! ☀️ And speaking of mornings… we have something new on the schedule. 🩰
Tuesdays at The Tallahassee Ballet School just got a little busier with two new morning class options!
✨ Mommy & Me — a sweet introduction to movement, music, and dance for our littlest dancers alongside their grown-up.
✨ Homeschool Ballet Level 1/2 — daytime ballet training designed to give homeschool families another way to fit dance into their week.

There are a couple of new additions and hidden gems on our schedule that deserve a little spotlight!
NEW! Level 1 Tap | Ages 7+
Thursdays | 3:45–4:30 PM
Tap into something new! This brand-new class is perfect for dancers ready to explore rhythm, musicality, coordination, and a whole new way of making music with their feet. Great for supporting rhythm in ballet!
Primary B Ballet + Jazz
Fridays | 5:30–6:30 PM
Why choose one when you can dance both? This combination class introduces young dancers to the foundations of ballet AND the energy and fun of jazz — all in one class!

Both classes still have room for a few more dancers, and now is the perfect time to join us as we get into the swing of a new season.

✨ THE NUTCRACKER AUDITIONS ✨
Calling young dancers to join the magic of The Tallahassee Ballet’s The Nutcracker! We are holding auditions for Little Angels in Act II and Party Boys in Act I for our 40th anniversary production. 🎄🩰
AUDITION ELIGIBILITY
• Ages 8–10
• Under 5 feet tall for costuming purposes
• Must be enrolled in at least one ballet class with TTBS
• Dancers cast will be subject to a $150 Performance & Costume Fee
REHEARSAL COMMITMENT
Rehearsals begin mid-October and will take place on Saturdays for approximately 1–2 hours, with Sundays added in November.
Mandatory Rehearsals: November 14, 15, 21 & 22 December 5, 6, 12 & 13

Dress Rehearsals:
Week of December 14–18

PERFORMANCES
🎭 December 19 | 10:30 AM & 7:30 PM
🎭 December 20 | 10:30 AM & 2:30 PM

Open House yesterday was the perfect way to kick off our first week of classes! 🩰✨
A big thank you to Dancewear Tallahassee and Eurotard for helping our dancers start the season ready to go with fittings, shoes, and everything they need for a great year of dancing!

✨ ’Twas the night before Open House, and all through the school,
The studios were quiet—but tomorrow? They’ll be full! 🩰
Soon they’ll be filled with dancers, petite to advanced,
With trial classes to take and new steps to be danced!
Leotards, uniforms, and shoes will be fitted just right,
And young dancers can dress up for a magical delight! ✨
T-shirts will be available to take home with you,
Plus plenty of chances to see what TTBS can do!

TTBS summer looked a little like this... ☀️🩰✨
From camps to classes, and workshops - pointe, variations, and making new friends, we've had the best summer at TTBS—but we're just getting started.
It's time to kick off a brand new season! Join us this Sunday for our TTBS Open House starting at 1:30. Come meet our incredible faculty, tour the studios, get fitted for uniforms, sample a free class, grab a few treats, and get excited for everything this season has in store.
Whether you're a returning dancer or thinking about joining us for the first time, there's no better way to start the year. We can't wait to welcome you back to the studio! 💙✨
