Operating as usual
Dear Parents,
We are counting down the days to summer and there are only 6 left. Below are a few reminders about some upcoming events and general information. Please help us by reminding students that their behavior during the final days should be one that exhibits the Panther PRIDE we expect to see all year.
Attention Parents: Please help your child look for their library books. They are due to the Media Center tomorrow (Friday, May 17th). Mrs. Dorband has to start the inventory and needs all books in their place on the shelf. Look under beds or dressers, in the car, in the closet, on the bookshelf, at family members' houses, and in backpacks.
ALL LIBRARY BOOKS need to be turned in or paid for if lost or damaged BEFORE they can participate in the upcoming Celebration parties at school and the 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Tuesday night.
Yearbook / Yearbook
School yearbooks will be arriving any day now. If you have not already ordered one don't wait too long as we only ordered 100. Yearbooks are $18 and can be paid with cash or money order made payable to the school.

You can email or text them to Mrs. West: [email protected], or text through REMIND; and to Mrs. Dorband: [email protected] or reply to this email and she will get it.

Parents,
We have a full schedule of meetings for tomorrow, April 16th beginning at 5:30.
Please join us for the SAC/PTO meeting from 5:30-6:30.
At 6:30 our 3rd-5th grade STUDENTS and PARENTS are invited to come out and participate in a Data Talk with your child.
At 7:00 or when you finish your data talk, come grab some dinner in the cafeteria!
Please reply to this email [email protected] (please give names of attendees) if you plan to attend the data talks and dinner or call the school office at 850-488-4673.
Our annual Grandparents Week at school will be next week Feb. 12-16. A few weeks back students brought home a pink letter describing the week's celebration and a form to fill out if your child's grandparents or if they have a significant older person that would like to come and have lunch with them that week at school.
We need that form by Wednesday, February 7th in order for our lunchroom manager to make sure that enough food is ordered for the following week for lunches. Please make sure that you return the form with your child to their teacher by Wednesday. Grandparents may also bring in their own lunch instead of purchasing one at school, but you can't beat our price of just $3.50.
That week is also our Spring book fair week in the media center. After lunch they can stop in and shop for a wonderful new book for their grandchild to read over spring break. We hope that you invite all the grandparents to come and have lunch next week.

🔥 It is always fun to have a little friendly competition, especially when it’s for a great cause (and when we win!). Today, we teamed up with the Consolidated Dispatch Agency, Leon County EMS, and Leon County Government Animal Control and delivered school supplies to Astoria Park Elementary. This effort, known as “Pencil Wars,” is a friendly competition between our partnering agencies, and this year the Tallahassee Fire Department took the first place prize! 🥇 🚒 Leon County Schools
