Training will cease May 31st
We are so thankful for the support our Process Family has given us over the last 11 years (and 6 years in Tallahassee)!!
As most of you know we have used our training as a ministry and discipleship to share the Love of Christ with everyone we work with.
With lots of prayer God has led Process Basketball in a new direction and deeper ministry!
God is calling our staff to Process Academy full time. This is a Christian academy to help disciple young men and women in Christ and helping develop their full potential and goals on the basketball court.
May 31st will be our last day of traditional group and individual training in Tallahassee. We are sad and excited as God closes one door and opens another! We have paused all packages that renew in the month of May.

This year we will be solely operating our donation based Process Sports Academy.
Our mission - "To grow into the character of Jesus Christ, steward our gifts responsibly and use the sport of basketball to glorify our father!"
Process Academy is a prep school designed to develop players not only on athe court, but in their off the court life in the image of Jesus Christ. We believe that character and faith in Christ will allow players to thrive long after their career is over, as well as grow into the most well rounded players possible. With experience working with over 250 million dollars in NBA contracts our players will receive the best skill development, athleticism development and coaching to help them grow fully into what God has planned for their careers.
For our schooling- our curriculum is partnered with NCAA Certified Liberty University Online Academy - which is apart of the NCAA d1 School Liberty University. Players will be able to receive a top tier education that even includes dual enrollment opportunities at Liberty University.

We are not going to allow a families financial circumstance from hindering the opportunity to grow as a basketball player, as a person and as a Disciple of Christ!

Our first year in a nutshell we had
-PLAYERS GIVE THEIR LIFE TO CHRIST
-PLAYERS RECEIVE D1 SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS AFTER 0 COLLEGE INTERESTS PRIOR
-BEAT PROGRAMS SUCH AS IMG, MONTVERDE ACADEMY & MORE
-Multiple d1 schools such as UCF, Liberty, FSU, Sam Houston, Furman come to watch games & Practices
Our team of coaches knew God was calling us to start an Academy that chased after him with our whole heart, and could disciple players day in and day out.
We believed we needed more time to get it started, so our plan was to start the Fall of 2024. To our surprise as we prayed in July of 2023, God said start now. We said Lord how? School starts in 3 weeks. And this year was the beginning of God showing his faithfulness to obedience.
Once we said okay God we will do what you asked, and before we knew it we were talking with players telling them how different this opportunity would be because the focus is Jesus and second is basketball.
Three players said they wanted to relocate, but they needed a place to stay. Akii and Amber then prayed and heard house as many players as needed. At one point they supported 4 players along with their 4 kids 6 and under.
Throughout the season Process Academy had at most 6 players on the roster, but primarily played with 5.
Unfortunately, during the season some players did return home for some unforeseen circumstances and we only had 4 players. The day we ended up with 4 players we asked God where do we go from here? He said the season will continue. The next day a player reached out and said can I still have an opportunity at the Academy? Just like that when we believed the season may come to a close God showed us that he has called us to be faithful in starting it, and he will be faithful in providing the right players and staff around it.
With only 5 players for 90% of the season the players have reached a level of growth that would seem impossible. With 4 of our 5 previously only having JV experience, teams would laugh every game and say, “why are we playing them? This will be easy!”
Our team was asked to withstand 40 minutes games with a shot clock (that is a very long and fast paced game). The level of competition was extremely difficult. Playing National high school teams, post grad teams (19-21 year olds), and regional high school academy teams.
Then WE would win!!
Through the whole season we would attest this to Character!
We finished multiple games with 4 players (all of those games we won). One game we played eight minutes with four players and the other coach told his players let’s end this I’m ready to go home. They only have four we then came back and won by 11.
We challenged our player to levels they did not know ere possible both on and off the court. If God led the coaches to have bible study in the middle of practice they would do so for hours in place of practice.
The players bought in to allowing the coaches to challenge them, and they started to challenge each other because they believed and understood it was in love!
The program ended with a record of 15-7 versus high profile programs, post grad teams and more. With wins against IMG, Montverde Academy , Jordan Christian Prep they played an extremely challenging schedule, one that can be considered one of the tougher highschool schedules. Miraculously through the strength of God the whole program (players and coaches were able to do this season at such a high level) with 0 injuries that caused players to miss games.
We are so grateful for the first season of Process Sports Academy as it was only through faithful obedience in God it was made possible. It set the foundation for the future of the academy and what God will continue to do through it.
