Three weeks ago, my pool died. It collapsed in the middle of the night. I was devastated. Over the last three weeks we were able to purchase a new *to me* pool, move and level lots of dirt, set up and fill (twice 🤦‍♀️) a 12x24 place for me to continue teaching!! It’s been a roller coaster of emotions this last month! BUT! We did it! I got to teach lessons in my new pool today! I am beyond grateful to all the people who have helped me get to this place!! If it wasn’t for the blood and sweat of some and the loaning of pool space by others I wouldn’t be where I am! Thank you to everyone in my current session who were so flexible and awesome!!

I am trying to get quotes for an in-ground pool. If you or anyone you know can get a pool in this winter, I’d be forever grateful!! Everywhere seems super busy through next year!

I’m so happy to be back in the pool! The first two days of lessons were great!!! ☺️

The heater has been delivered and is heating!
Lessons start on Monday!

Unfortunately, I woke up to my pool heater leaking and not heating. My amazing husband is working on it and I’m hoping he can fix it, and lessons can begin tomorrow. If we need to install a new heater, we may have to postpone starting till next week. Stay tuned!!

Today is the first day of Session D!! I’m super excited to get in the pool with all my little friends!!

My pool is directly under all the lightning bolts!! We’ve also gotten an inch of rain in 45 min! Be safe out there Tallahassee!!

🏊‍♀️🏊 Whew, 3.09 inches of rain here today!! It cooled the pool down, but the heater will combat that chill! See all my lessons tomorrow!! 🏊🏊‍♀️

2021 Short Course Nationals Live Coverage

My little sister (Alyssa Padyjasek) has been competing all weekend and doing fantastic!! We are so proud!! I wanted to share the Livestream in case you’d like to show your kiddo what a Swim Meet looks like! Tomorrow, she will be competing in the 200 Freestyle Heat 7 Lane 1! She thinks the women should start around 1pm!

2021 Short Course Nationals Live Coverage Welcome to our coverage of the 2021 U.S. Masters Swimming Short Course National Championship, which includes stories, photo galleries, a list of records broken, and archived recordings of the meet.

I am watching Tropical Storm Elsa and her path toward Florida. At this time I am not canceling any lessons. As the system moves closer I will asses again. I will however be taking down the canopy above the pool deck on Tuesday evening. If you are coming to lessons on Wednesday/ Thursday please be prepared with umbrellas for rain.

We’ve gotten 2.63 inches of rain so far today at Swim with Erin!! My gardens are sure loving it!! Thank goodness I have the heater to keep the water at 80°!!

As long as the thunder and lightning hold off we’ll be swimming today!

Day one of Session B is done! It was a perfect day with some super awesome kiddos and parents!! I am totally energized for day 2!!

Hello swim families!! My kiddo, Marley, is collecting supplies for St. Francis Wildlife! Her Girl Scout Troop has set up a supply drive!
