It is official! As of July 1, 2024, we are now Tallahassee State College (TSC), and no longer Tallahassee Community College (TCC). Here is the new TSC logo.

Congratulations to the winners Marissa Chandler with Student Services and Brandi Roberson with Workforce Development for winning the AFC TCC Chapter Father’s Day (Brindi) and Fur Buddy (Marissa) basket fundraiser. We appreciate everyone who supported the AFC TCC Chapter Father's Day fundraiser.

I would like to thank our Chapter who donated items to the Kearney Center. As a Chapter, we believe in helping our community. Our Chapter denotations to the Kearney Center were a wonderful success. The Kearney Center Executive Director Sonya Wilson greeted me and was extremely thankful for all our donations.

Day 2

I enjoyed Campus Safety Symposium Conference and networking with the various attendees that I met.

Dr. Eddie Williams presentation on coping, counseling, & growing was excellent.

The AFC TCC Chapter was thrilled to donate a few non-perishable items and clothes to the Falcon Hope Center in Daytona.

Day 1

All of the Campus Safety Symposium professional development breakout sessions were pretty informative and engaging. The presenters were excellent and great.

The sessions wrapped up at 5:00 with a reception from 5:00 - 6:00.

Tallahassee Community College (TCC) was thrilled to host and welcome Region I Colleges to the 2024 Region One & Culture and Connections Commission Joint Spring Conference.

The attendees had wonderful professional development breakout sessions to select from. This year's theme: "Gaining Strength."

TCC was honored to support Chipola College, Northwest Florida State College, & Pensacola State College in every step of the way.

Everyone missed Gulf Coast State College due a conflict in its schedule.

Tallahassee Community College will have a new name and a new look this year Tallahassee Community College (TCC) will soon be known as Tallahassee State College.

The AFC TCC Chapter joined the TCC Classified Staff to participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run/Walk for Special Olympics Florida in Gadsden County.

The Law Enforcement Special Olympics run / walk was 1.2 miles. We appreciate our Chapter’s support and the individuals who came out.

The AFC TCC Chapter supports street cleanliness. Our Chapter adopted Appleyard Drive to clean up. Here are a few of the pictures from the cleanup. We appreciate our Chapter support and the individuals who came out.

The AFC TCC Chapter third Kearney Center visit was today to assist the community members experiencing homelessness in the Big Bend area. It is always so satisfying and gratifying helping others in our community who need a helping hand. Go TCC!!!

The AFC TCC Chapter Ice Cream Social was a wonderful success. We had over 25 attendees who dropped by throughout the event.

Congratulations goes out to Samantha Monroe for joining AFC as a new member and winning the Chick-fil-a gift card.

The AFC TCC Chapter is hosting a Retiree Bingo Social.

The Retiree Bingo Social is open to all AFC TCC Chapter members and non-members.

We will have food, and there will be a prize for each winner.

The AFC TCC Chapter believes in keeping our designated street Appleyard Drive clean. Our Chapter is hosting an Appleyard Drive Street clean-up April 6, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon.

We are inviting all Chapter members, Retirees, and non-members out to assist with the clean-up project.

The AFC TCC Chapter is hosting a Ice Cream Social April 3, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm for all of our Chapter members and non-members.

Non-members, please drop-in to meet our Chapter Board members and find out more about AFC.

We will provide a wide variety of ice cream. We will have door prizes.

Non-AFC Members have a chance to win a $25.00 Chick-fil-a gift card if you join the day of the event.

Susan Crutchfield in the TCC Library is the Valentine’s Day Basket winner from our Chapter fundraiser on Wed., Feb. 14, 2024.
