The held their Membership Bootcamp in the CASS Building at FAMU yesterday.
From Parliamentary Procedures, Protocol, Sigma Image, Sorority and Chapter History, Mental Health, and other topics, Sorors were engaged in lively discussions. We learned a few new things and were refreshed on the old. A nice lunch, games and prizes and Photo Booth fun ended the day.

The welcomes Soror Shuntoria C. Ferrell, CRDH.

Inducted into the Alpha Epsilon chapter Spring 2023 at FAMU, Shuntoria is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Social Work at FAMU, where she also earned her Bachelors in Health Science.
Soror Ferrell is working hard to have her own business that focuses on social work, doula services, yoga, and all things related to Black mental and physical health and wellness.

A fun fact is she loves animals, anime, and hails from Fort Lauderdale, FL. 💙🐩💛

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation and the lives of countless families.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. pauses to remember the lives lost, honor the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who answered the call, and recognize the families and communities whose lives were forever changed.
As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, may we continue to lead with compassion, stand together in times of need, and strengthen our communities through service.

The Sorors Brown-Jefferson and Davis attended the Florida Department of Children and Families' Annual Summit Conference in Orlando, Florida. Soror Davis presented a Workshop and Training to Parent Attorneys, Attorneys for Children with Special Needs and the Judiciary on properly billing the State for costs and resources.
