The AFC joins in the mourning of the passing of Florida A&M University’s seventh President and President Emeritus Walter L. Smith, Ph.D. Dr. Smith served as the University’s leader from 1977 to 1985.
Dr. Smith was an AFC Honorary Life Member Awardee and an unwavering supporter of the Association, its colleges, and members.
